(a.k.a Mark Kazavchinski) is a painter, professionally trained musician and a singer

Mark was born in 1960 in Moldova , former republic of Soviet Union . He served in Soviet Army from 1980 to 1982 as a musician in the military band.

Like many of his compatriots, Marks' world was turned upside down in 1990s when he and his family were forced to flee Moldova , because of chaos brought by collapse of the Soviet Union and the local separatist wars. In Canada , his new home, Mark began to look for different ways to express himself without constrains of his still developing and improving English.

In the spring of 1998, inspired by the bare walls of his surroundings, Mark picked up his brushes for very first time and ...was hooked. Ever since, Mark Kazavchinski had been fascinated with the boundless possibilities oil painting had given him. His first local exhibition in 1999 in Toronto was quickly sold out.

New artist was overwhelmed by his success when his art was presented on World Wide Web. In the very first year more than 500 of his original paintings were sold. Since then, Mark enjoys ever growing popularity in many countries. His paintings are now in numerous private and corporate collections in USA , Austria , Italy , Netherlands , Germany , England , Belgium , France , Canada , Malaysia and Russia .
